In training of beginners we usually encounter great problem that we call like a mental muscle. Mental muscle is formed on the line between the mental will and the end part of the used limb. Behind the mental muscle is an abstract thought that considers a straight line to be the best solution of the motion path. It is a complete nonsense that results from the poor perception of one’s own body and the gravitational field.
The straight line is purely of mental nature. It does not occur in real space. There, all movements move along curved lines. Space is curved. Only to the observer who is integrated in the space of the universe it appears to be direct.
The picture A. shows a common situation that can arise when you move your hand toward you. Mental muscle is created between the forehead, which is the seat of your will, and your hand. With heavy arm strain in this way, it destroys the elbow and shoulder. In addition, serious psychological problems may arise.
The picture B. shows another case of mental muscle that arises from poorly performed kicks.
The figure C. shows another case of mental muscle that arises from poorly executed strikes directed at an imaginary or physical target.
